My cat does this too and I was curious as to why so I asked the vet. Apparently your cat is hearing the stutter in your heart beat caused by the sneeze and is making sure you’re okay.

I hate to be that guy, but the stutter in your heartbeat caused by sneezes is a myth. It doesn’t happen. That myth is also what gave rise to people saying “Bless you”, because if your heart stuttered and failed they wanted to bless you before you died or something.
