This is just a shout out to all those Jews in public music programs that have to perform Christmas music in December. Orchestra, band, choir, guitar, whatever.

A shout out to the Jews who are called inhumane and rude for not liking Christmas music, to the Jews who are scolded for not participating in Christmas Spirit.

A shout out to the Jews who can’t even complain that it’s all Christmas music because someone inevitably says something like “We know you’re a Jew, can you just shut up already?”

A shout out to the Jews who are forced by their class or group to participate in Christmas Spirit and get dressed up as though they’re funny little dolls in Santa hats and reindeer horns and candy canes and all the other commercial Christmas vomit.

A shout out to the Jews that feel like they have to hide their discomfort and their Jewishness during the December/winter concert for the sake of easing the nerves of people who don’t want to hear anything other than sleigh bells.

A shout out to the Jews that have to hear “Just because you’re Jewish doesn’t mean you shouldn’t like Christmas!”

A shout out to the Jews who feel too stereotypical for disliking Christmas music.
