Ao3 is fundraising right now, so support what you love!

every year I see ao3 fundraising, and then i log onto tumblr and see ungrateful people complaining on my dash about ao3 fundraising. those same people who log onto ao3 every day to read or post fanfiction.

like…what? the fuck? come on, people. ao3′s a wonderful library of FREE content made possible by volunteers. and they’re only asking for $130k. like, that’s NOTHING (i’m not even joking that legit nothing compared to the massive website they run).

if you can donate, awesome. if you can’t, then help support them in other ways by helping to spread the word about their fundraiser. do NOT beat them up for asking for money because you don’t support some of the content writers produce or because of whatever convoluted reason (which, btw, if any fic violates community guidelines then you’re free to report it you know instead of just complaining about it on freaking tumblr). they’re a FREE LIBRARY of CREATIVE CONTENT. let’s thank them and support them however we can!
